Hotel Establishment Photography

Photographing hotels is always a fascinating proposition. More often than not, the obvious shot is not always the best choice. In addition to showcasing the very best of the Hotel, there is also the consideration on how the photos will be leveraged. Will they be print publications, website headers, social media posts etc. These are all consideration to plan into a shoot.

Here I am only discussing photographing the actual rooms, facilities and property. Photographing food, events, lifestyle shoots, hiring in models etc.. is all further consideration.

Establishment Shots

Big exterior shots are always important. It introduces the protagonist of the story. Drone photography is always a great choice as it provides an unique perspective, but not always possible. Detail shots are important and often forgotten whilst you chase that big establishment shot. Capturing details of the exterior and perspecives allow guests to have a more immersive experience and fill the pages of the story you are trying to capture.
